Please join us for an engaging presentation Dr. Michael F. Roizen served as Cleveland Clinic’s first Chief Wellness Officer from 2007 to 2019, and as founding Chair of its Wellness Institute. He now serves Cleveland Clinic as Chief Wellness Officer Emeritus, and is a professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, in partnership with the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Roizen is certified in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology. He initiated and developed the RealAge concept to motivate behavior change. He has authored over 190 peer-reviewed scientific publications, four New York Times #1 best sellers, and his latest book, “What to Eat When”. He helped start 13 companies, and has a weekly podcast now in its 950+ week. He and Dr. Oz co-author a daily column syndicated to over 100 newspapers that translates current scientific reports into actionable steps for lay audiences. He is a recipient of an Emmy and the Best Medical Communicator award from the National Library of Medicine.
Dr. Roizen is devoted to helping people live “younger”. He is an avid believer in Smartphone technology combined with human coaching to motivate health through behavior change to reduce the need for illness care, thereby substantially reducing healthcare costs.
