This annual arts and music festival takes place on Hessler Road, an historic street in University Circle, featuring vegetarian cuisine, art and craft vendors, live music and more! The event also serves as a fundraiser for the Hessler Neighborhood Association (HNA), which was formed in 1969 to “to preserve and maintain the neighborhood” from further development.

The Parade, which begins at Noon, incorporates the drama and artistry of colorful floats, puppets, costumes, dancers, and musicians. The theme of this year’s Parade is Collage: a composition of often disparate elements collected and altered to complete a vision. In tandem with their 150 Anniversary, the Western Reserve Historical Society presents Wow Factor: 150 Years of Collecting Bold Clothes, showcasing 15 decades of fashionable, inspiring Clevelanders and their style. “Wow Factor” is the ability to inspire feelings of wonder and awe. In fashion, these emotions are triggered by beauty, craftsmanship, rarity, and humor. The exhibition highlights the Western Reserve Historical Society’s outstanding collection of show-stopping clothing and accessories made by Cleveland designers as well as international designers such as Christian Dior and Carolina Herrera.
