Judson Intergenerational Program is Semi-Finalist for $100,00 Eisner Prize

Judson’s curriculum-based Intergenerational Program “Community Partners” is one of 20 national semi-finalists for the Eisner Foundation’s inaugural $100,000 Eisner Prize for Intergenerational Excellence.

The Eisner Prize will recognize an individual or a non-profit organization that excels in uniting multiple generations, especially seniors and youth, to bring about positive and lasting changes in their community. The foundation invites the public to cast their vote for the winner online by going to http://www.eisnerfoundation.org.

Thirty years ago, Judson commenced its first intergenerational collaboration with Ruffing Montessori School in Cleveland Heights. Today, Judson works with over 40 different educational and civic groups throughout Greater Cleveland and on its three residential communities (Judson Park and Judson Manor in University Circle; South Franklin Circle in Chagrin Falls) using curriculum and arts-based programs that serve as a national model for connecting generations, enriching lives and stimulating minds of all ages.
