“I know someone’s got her back,” says Amy.
As Amy explored myriad options for her mom, Judson stood out.
“The staff has the utmost respect for the residents,” she says. “They went out of their way to get to know my mom personally. This preserves her dignity and individuality, which ultimately brings her joy and a better quality of life.”
Living in Cleveland Heights, Amy can visit her mom frequently. Together, they enjoy trips to Cleveland Botanical Garden and the Cleveland Museum of Art. “Having the cultural attractions of University Circle at Mom’s doorstep makes it easy for my daughters and I to create new memories with her. We also bring our dog Maggie to visit, and she’s a real hit with everyone!”
Back at Judson, Ruth feels right at home. “Mom’s made a lot of new friends. She’s happier now.” smiles Amy. “Her group is the ‘wild’ table at meals, always laughing about something.”
