It’s no secret that live music of all kinds is an integral part of the lifestyle at Judson Manor. Thanks to its location in University Circle, Cleveland’s cultural hub, residents can easily access Cleveland Orchestra concerts at Severance Hall and student recitals and opera at the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM).

The Manor is also home to three CIM graduate students, part of an innovative artist-in-residence program, where the students live alongside the residents, perform regularly at all three Judson communities, and arrange other musical programs.

Chicago native and artist-in-residence Daniel Parvin studies collaborative piano at CIM. He recently branched out into playing jazz. At the suggestion of a few residents, his jazz combo performs regularly in the Manor’s Wade Park Grill. It’s proven so popular that it’s sometimes hard to get a seat!
